Patrick Speech and Languages Centre has been a beacon of hope for our family. Before coming here, we struggled to understand our son’s needs and felt very isolated. The ‘Individualized Educational Plan’ (IEP) they created for him has made a world of difference. He is now communicating his needs more clearly, and our home life is much more peaceful. We are so grateful to Mrs. Akande and her dedicated team.
What stands out most about PSLC is the level of expertise. Knowing they are the first IBCCES-certified center in Nigeria gave us the confidence to enroll our daughter. The staff doesn’t just treat this as a job; they truly care about the children’s progress. Seeing my daughter learn social skills and participate in the Art Exhibition was a moment I’ll never forget.
The Gazelle Studio is such a brilliant initiative. As my brother got older, we worried about his future and employment. Through the vocational training at the studio, he has learned sewing and packaging skills that have given him a sense of purpose and independence. It’s amazing to see a center in Nigeria focusing on the transition to adulthood for neurodivergent individuals.
I have attended several of their free therapy outreaches and conferences. PSLC does incredible work not just in their classrooms but in the community, breaking the stigma surrounding autism in Nigeria. They are making specialized therapy accessible even to indigent families through the Pure Souls Learning Foundation. A truly impactful organization.
My son started at PSLC as a non-verbal five-year-old. Through their speech and behavioral therapy, he improved so much that he was eventually integrated into a mainstream school. The transition wasn’t easy, but the foundation he received at Patrick’s made it possible. They helped him become a self-confident learner, and for that, we are eternally thankful.
