Getting Involved

There are different ways in which you can be involved in improving the quality of life for autistic children. You may decide to be involved at an individual level as a volunteer or a donor. You may also be involved at an organizational level.

Volunteers
Volunteers make themselves available whenever their services are required at the centre. Because PSLC is an organization funded by GT Bank under the SME scheme, volunteers' involvement goes a long way in helping the centre meet the special needs of its autistic community. Volunteering covers

  • Teaching
  • Volunteering as Workers during awareness programs and events organised by the centre

Donor: financial and/or material
Your involvement may be in the area of providing financial support for the centre by making voluntary monthly, quarterly or one-time monetary donation to the centre.

You may also decide to participate by providing material resources for use in the centre. Materials that can be donated include:

  • Children Literature
  • Educational Materials and Toys

Organization
Organizational involvement involves media sponsorship, cash/cheque or material donations. They may also sponsor trainings, seminars and workshops to increase awareness. For more information on how your organization can be involved, you may contact the centre on the following numbers: +234-1-4966030, +234-803 301 9865
